Tennessee does not have a specific state law requiring private-sector employers to reimburse employee expenses.
State employees are reimbursed for travel expenses related to authorized state business travel. Such reimbursements are subject to limitations, as outlined in Policy 8, Comprehensive Travel Regulations.
