Overview

The Department of Public Safety in Oklahoma adopted by reference Parts 40, 380, 382, 383, 385, 386, 390–393, and 395–397 of the Federal Regulations.

Applicability

The adopted regulations apply to intrastate drivers of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating or a gross vehicle weight or gross combination weight of 26,001 pounds or more, or transporting hazardous materials requiring the vehicle to be placarded. Some provisions were modified for intrastate commerce.
