Ohio has state-specific guidance for non-enforceable action levels for PFOA and PFOS in drinking water that are the same as the federal MCLs. Ohio has no state-specific PFAS drinking water requirements.

The Ohio EPA is conducting rulemaking to establish MCLs for PFAS in drinking water. The agency expects to finalize enforceable rules by Spring 2027.
