Missouri allows the total gross weight of any vehicle or combination hauling:
- Milk from a farm to processing facility; or
- Livestock
To be as much as 85,500 lb while operating on highways other than the interstate highway system.
Any vehicle or combination of vehicles hauling grain or grain co-products during times of harvest may be as much as 10% over the maximum weight limitation allowable while operating on highways other than the interstate highway system.
Bridge rules
80,000 pounds maximum gross weight is allowed on all highways in Missouri, except where bridge structures are signed with lesser weight limits.
FEDERAL BRIDGE FORMULA: On interstate, primary, and other designated highways, the maximum legal weights for any vehicle or combination of vehicles and load may not exceed that which is determined by the Federal Bridge Formula and Table:
