The Hawaii Occupational Safety and Health Division (HIOSH) has adopted most OSHA standards related to state and local government and private employers. HIOSH has incorporated American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A11.1-1965 (R1970), American National Standard Practice for Industrial Lighting, into its state general industry standards.
