A summary of the additional requirements includes the following:
- On January 19, 1989, federal OSHA revised its permissible exposure limits under 29 CFR 1910.1000. Tennessee adopted these revisions. Even though federal OSHA revoked the revised final rule on June 30, 1993, Tennessee OSHA still enforces the 1989 permissible exposure limits (including Table Z-1-A) for substances that are not covered by separate standards.
