A summary of the additional requirements includes the following:
Catwalks, platforms, walkways, and stairways are to be kept free from the hazards of ice, snow, overhanging ice or snow, holes, loose members, or badly deteriorated or corroded members.
Personnel platforms on the load lines of cranes or derricks must meet the design, construction, testing, use, and maintenance requirements of 29 CFR 1926.550(g).
