In Arkansas, a driver may not use a phone when passing a school building or school zone during school hours when children are present and outside the building.
This prohibition does not apply to:
- Communication with law enforcement or other emergency services, or A
- law enforcement officer engaged in official duties.
A driver may not use a phone in a highway work zone when a highway worker is present.
This prohibition does not apply to:
