The Yukon Territory has adopted by reference the provisions of the National Safety Code (NSC) Standard 11, Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection (PMVI) Standards.

Commercial vehicles are required to meet the maintenance and periodic inspection requirements as outlined in NSC Standard 11 for all trucks, tractors, trailers, and buses. All carriers are required to have a system to inspect, maintain, and repair all vehicles at regular intervals.

A copy of NSC Standard 11 can be found on the CCMTA website at www.ccmta.ca/.
