According to the Department of Labor, employees who get dressed for work in the morning (at home) are not “working” while dressing, even though the uniform they put on at home is required to be worn during working hours. Similarly, any changing which takes place at home at the end of the day would not be an integral part of the employment, and is not “working” time. Employees need not be paid for this time.
