No. Documents acquired throughout the day are important for enforcing the hours-of-service rules and auditing drivers’ records of duty status. Drivers and motor carriers must keep each supporting document that is received in the normal course of business, up to eight documents per driver per 24-hour day, including those received at any time during the course of the day.
