Ontario exempts the following from their speed limiter regulation:

Buses;
Mobile cranes;
Motor homes;
Vehicles manufactured before 1995;
Vehicles with a manufacturer’s gross vehicle weight rating under 11,794 kilograms; or
Ambulances, cardiac arrest emergency vehicles, or fire apparatus.

Quebec exempts the following from their speed limiter regulation:

Emergency vehicles,
Tool vehicles,

Detachable axles, and
