Summary of differences between federal and state regulations
Colorado has no state-specific affirmative action requirements for private employers. However, the Colorado Civil Rights Commission recommends that employers actively recruit women for jobs in which they have previously been underrepresented.
Affirmative action programs are required for all state agencies and certain state contractors.
