Louisiana has adopted 390.15 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), revised as of January 1, 2021, and subsequent amendments. Section 390.15 includes accident recordkeeping requirements.
Section 390.15 applies to all intrastate commercial motor vehicles with a single or combined gross vehicle weight or gross vehicle weight rating over 26,000 pounds, and all vehicles transporting hazardous materials.
Accident reporting - Motor carrier
