Click below to see answer.

Understanding Risk Management planning: Answer

Answer: Yes. The company has met all requirements for falling under the RMP according to Part 68 of the regulations.

Companies that are considered a stationary source, have regulated substances exceeding threshold quantities, and a process fall under RMP requirements. They should do the following:

  • Assign a problem level to each process at the facility.
  • Undertake the appropriate program-level activities for each process.
  • Complete and implement an RMP (updating the program every 5 years)
  • Submit the RMP to EPA or the State implementing agency.
  • Meet any deadlines established by Part 68.
