Life insurance
Colorado Revised Statutes, Title 10, Life Insurance, Article 7, Part 2 (Group life insurance)
Policy must cover at least three individuals at date of issue.
There is a grace period of 31 days.
If coverage ceases because of termination of employment, the certificate owner shall be entitled to have issued to him, without evidence of insurability, an individual policy of life insurance without disability or other supplementary benefits. Application must be made, and the first premium paid, within thirty-one days after such termination.
If the group policy terminates, the owner of each certificate who has been insured for at least five years prior to such termination date, is entitled to an individual policy.
