Discrimination
Discrimination in regard to refusing to insure, or refusing to continue to insure, or limiting the amount, extent or kind of coverage available to an individual, or charging a different rate for the same coverage solely because of physical impairment, or mental impairment, is prohibited.
Rule and regulation 28:
Unfair discrimination is also prohibited on the basis of blindness or partial blindness.

Minimum standards for minimum basic benefit disability insurance.

In vitro fertilization - Group disability policies must provide benefits for in vitro fertilization procedures.
Rule and regulation 1:
Coordination of benefits - If a group disability policy contains an over-insurance provision, the provision must be consistent with the model group COB provisions adopted by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and the guidelines established by the rule and regulation.
