Calendar Waste/HazWaste Events Environmental English Focus Area Event Summary USA

Exporters of used (broken or intact) CRTs for recycling must submit annual reports electronically to EPA using EPA’s WIETS for all export shipments made the previous calendar year. If an exporter does not ship any hazardous waste after having obtained consent to export certain hazardous wastes, the exporter should submit an export annual report noting that the quantity shipped under the issued consent(s) was zero. See 40 CFR 261.39(a)(5)(x - xi).
